Underpass

'Underpass' Oil on linen board 420 mm x 300 mm

A late September day spent standing and painting on a public footpath/cycleway on Deeside industrial park. I'd wandered for a while, trying to get an interesting angle. The trouble with industrial areas is that  everywhere is out-of-bounds and fenced-off. I settled on  this view because it was graphic and

 quite striking. You can see its progress in stages, below.
